GTS Central Europe (GTS CE) is a multi-layered infrastructure based provider of integrated telecommunications solutions for those countries of Central and Eastern Europe lying between Frankfurt and Istanbul. Carrier of the Year
On November 12th 2007, in a widely attended industry event in Amsterdam, Euromoney’s Capacity magazine awarded GTS CE as the 2007 "Best CEE Wholesale Provider". This is the second time GTS Central Europe is receiving this award, after the "Carrier of the Year Award" received in 2005.
The judging panel included industry analysts and senior representatives from Yankee Group, Atlantic-ACM, Ovum and Capacity magazine’s Editor-in-Chief and Editor.
Won against significant competition from both alternative and incumbent carriers, this award is the recognition of the continuous network enhancement, reach, and the depth of the access solutions across CEE region. Aggressive network investments coupled with successful integrations of acquired operators, helped GTS CE to triple revenues and Ebitda over the 3 years period, from 2005 to 2007.
