GTS CE wins ‘Best Central & Eastern European Wholesale Offering’ award

Warsaw, November 24th 2009 – GTS Central Europe, a leading telecommunications operator in the CEE region, has been recognized in the prestigious Wholesale Telecommunications Awards for ‘Best Central & Eastern European Wholesale Offering’. Capacity Magazine’s annual awards were presented on the first evening of Capacity Europe on 23rd of November 2009, attended by more than 400 senior industry executives. The awards, created to recognize the best market players, are based on five criteria: network quality and performance, network reach, speed to market, pricing strategy, and overall investments in the network.

GTS Central Europe has been selected for its outstanding achievements in developing its wholesale strategy in the Central and Eastern European markets, supported by aggressive investments in technologies and the resulting enhanced service quality and customer experience. The award for 2009 follows the completion of the company’s integration process, and confirms that GTS’s "one-stop shopping" strategy, with integrated services available to business clients in five countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, place the company at the forefront of the telecoms industry in the region.
